GOD IS WATCHING!

Wilful disobedience is when we deliberately, intentionally and KNOWINGLY do something we jolly know that God hates...without any remorse...

The term sin has been so 'commonized' that it no longer communicates the import of this great EVIL.
To know that we have done something we are aware God doesn't want us to do, puts us in the same position as Adam... We did it with our eyes wide open...we were not deceived like Eve.

It is this WILFUL disobedience that constitutes the act of defiance and rebellion against God that we now label so cheaply as SIN... The same act of DEFIANCE and REBELLION originally committed by the angels who left their first estate...

The horror of it is that we commit hundreds of these acts of defiance and rebellion DAILY!
Does this not indicate a deep hardening of the heart?

We haven't really repented till we can no longer commit sin and remain dry eyed...till WILFULNESS is BROKEN within us.

We can't go to God with empty words requesting forgiveness when the heart has lost its ability to SORROW for sin.

Oh how we need to be careful this year and NOT be like Esau who sought tears of repentance CAREFULLY and could not find them!

Oh how we need to pray EARNESTLY for the breaking of our hearts... The removing of hearts of stone and replacements of hearts of flesh...

Let no one deceive you....repentance is not the mere confession of sin, it is the FORSAKING of it with a LOATHING of it.

Brethren PRAY in 2017!!! Pray for the heart to be broken, pray for godly sorrow, and KEEP AWAY from the things of the world that we take for granted, that steal our time and enter our hearts through the eye and ear gates.

They are the VERY things that callous the heart and harden it....those seemingly innocent and innocuous movies and music that we fill our hearts with... as though we had all the time in the world to prepare for Christ's coming.

When we ought to be renewing the mind...we prefer to clutter it up again with the excitement and thrills and fascinations of the world...

But at least now we know... It is so that we can REPENT...that's why we are made to know TODAY...
It is because 2017 is yet another opportunity God has given to LEARN obedience like Jesus did by the things he suffered...denying himself the pleasures of the flesh and accepting the cross he was called to bear.
